Coupons Udemy showed no malicious code in Extension Auditor's review. It comes from a trusted publisher and was last updated in July 2020.
Analyst notes
This is a minimal personal coupon-aggregator extension (7 files, 349 bytes of JS) built by an individual developer (Anthony Cardinale) to surface their own Udemy course discount coupons. The popup is a simple iframe pointing to the publisher's own website ([domain withheld]), and the background script only animates a badge showing '-90%'. There are no declared host_permissions, no network requests to third parties, no data collection, and no obfuscation. The ML score of 0.25 is a false positive driven by the extension's tiny size, low user count (291), and use of an iframe — all benign features here.
