Covid cases near you (NSW only).

Corona Doko uses your Google Maps location history data to help you work out if you've crossed paths with a COVID-19 case. We only cross-reference and visualise your Google History with NSW Health data. No data is stored outside of your browser. How does it work? We use the data from your Google Timeline to extract your location from the last 14 days (not including the current day) and match it with the data that NSW Health/NSW Government provides. Please note, you must have location data enabled for this to work. As we use the data from Google Timeline, your data location is not 100% accurate. The times that you visited the venue may also not be exact. However, it can give you a good estimate of whether you were close to a COVID-19 hotspot. Why did we do it? Support If you have any issues please send us an email to: [email protected] Issues with the extension: If you are unable to see any data on the map, this might be because: 1) You did not sign in to the same Google account on Mobile and Desktop. 2) You do not have the Timeline feature active on your Google Maps. Important notes: Corona Doko is only supported for users in NSW, Australia. Unfortunately, we do not support other states at this point. Corona Doko is not a replacement for the NSW Health website or the Service NSW App (check-in). We encourage you to use this tool as a way to check if you were near a COVID-19 hotspot. This should be an additional tool. Tech notes: - To prevent any limitations with the Google API, we pull data from your Google Timeline once a day and store a copy of your coordinates in the browser. - All the data manipulation happens in your browser. We do not collect or store any data outside of your browser. We do not have any back-end service (API) or data repository.
