Civic Dashboard Chrome extension security report

Your government, at your fingertips. Civic Stream puts live, nonpartisan government coverage one click away. Open the dashboard from your browser toolbar to see which official streams are live right now, scan the day's civic news, check what's happening on Capitol Hill, and keep an eye on upcoming elections — all in one clean, fast popup. No extra tabs. No digging. Built on Civic Stream (civicstream.tv), the extension brings the coverage you already trust into every tab, so staying informed takes seconds instead of a search. WHAT YOU GET • Favorite Streams — See the chambers and channels you follow at a glance, with a clear LIVE badge the moment one goes on air. Click through to watch instantly. • Recent News — A concise, curated feed of civic and political headlines, with breaking stories called out — from Capitol Hill to city hall. • Today's Schedule — Floor sessions, committee hearings and markups, White House briefings, and agency meetings for the day, with times and live status, so you always know what's on. • Upcoming Elections — A running calendar of federal, state, and local races, dated and counted, so the next election is never a surprise. • Instant Alerts — A notification bell tells you the moment a stream you follow goes live, even while you work in other tabs. MAKE IT YOURS • Drag to reorder widgets so what matters most sits on top. • Show or hide any widget with a single toggle. • Choose how many items each widget shows. • Sign in and your layout and preferences sync across the browsers you use. SIGN IN (OPTIONAL) Sign in with your free Civic Stream account to load your own favorite streams, news, and schedule. Sign-in uses a secure approve-in-browser flow, and your session stays on your device — you can sign out from the dashboard at any time. You can also browse without an account. PRIVACY FIRST • No ads. No trackers. No analytics. • The extension talks only to your Civic Stream site to load your dashboard — nothing else. • Your sign-in stays on your device; your settings sync through your browser account, not ours. WHO IT'S FOR Journalists, students, advocates, staffers, and anyone who wants to keep an eye on their government without keeping a dozen tabs open. Free and nonpartisan. Add Civic Stream and keep democracy in view.
