ChatShell is an enhanced export tool for ChatGPT conversations. What are the limitations of ChatGPT's built-in export? ChatGPT only offers JSON format bulk export, packaging all conversations from your personal space at once. This means: - JSON only, not directly readable or shareable - Cannot export a single conversation - No support for Team Workspace export What ChatShell offers: Multiple Formats Export to PDF, Word, or Markdown in addition to JSON. Exported files are ready to read, edit, and share. Single Conversation Export Export only the conversation you are currently viewing, without bundling your entire chat history. Team Workspace Support Export conversations from ChatGPT Team Workspace, which the official export does not support. Batch Export Batch export is also available, with the flexibility to choose personal space or team workspace, and any supported format. Formula Preservation LaTeX math formulas are fully rendered. Word format supports native equation editing. How to use: Visit chatgpt.com, open a conversation, click the ChatShell icon on the right side, select your format, and export. The free tier offers limited monthly exports. Paid plans unlock unlimited exports and advanced features.
