CFCA 托管RA定制版扩展程序，专为Microsoft Edge浏览器用户设计的数字证书在线更新组件，集成RSA与国家商用密码（SM2/SM3/SM4）双算法体系，配合业务系统的Host程序使用，为用户提供安全合规的RSA证书和国密证书的在线更新、下载服务。 工作时，扩展程序调用起host程序，host程序与USB Key(UKey)通讯，由Ukey完成证书请求数据的生成并通过扩展返回给页面。然后，页面将证书请求数据提交给服务器，服务器返回证书数据。页面再通过扩展将证书输入传递给host程序，并将证书导入到USB Key(UKey)内部。
