Analyst notes
The extension uses `chrome.debugger` exclusively to simulate mouse, keyboard, and input events on the Google Photos editor tab (`:322-408`) — the only viable automation path since Google Photos has no public editing API. Network monitoring via `Network.requestWillBeSent` is scoped solely to `batchexecute` URLs on the already-attached tab to detect when photo saves complete. All outbound network traffic goes to three explicitly declared destinations: `[domain withheld]` (payment, in host_permissions), `[domain withheld]` (publisher's own uninstall page), and `[domain withheld]` (standard GA4 Measurement Protocol with an active PII denylist at `:1850-1897` that strips photo IDs, captions, emails, and filenames before any event is dispatched). The permhash cluster shows versions flagged as malware. The bundled and published manifests match exactly. The ML score was driven by the `debugger` permission and standard Parcel minifier output inflating pattern counters.

Batch for Google Photos helps you apply Google Photos edits to multiple selected photos at once. Select photos in your Google Photos library, click Batch, choose an action, and Batch works through your selection in Chrome. It uses Google Photos' own editor, so you can avoid opening every photo and repeating the same edit one by one. Your photos stay in Google Photos. Batch does not upload your photos or photo files to our servers. Batch is an independent Chrome extension and is not affiliated with Google. Google Photos is a trademark of Google LLC.
