It specifically targets: - **Google’s “Switch to Chrome” banner** that appears on Google sites when you visit with a non‑Chrome browser. - **Microsoft Edge promotional bars**, often displayed at the top of Microsoft sites, urging you to download or switch to Edge. - **Google One‑Tap sign‑in pop‑ups**, the small overlay that encourages you to sign in to third‑party websites using your Google account. ## Installing the extension 1. Download or copy the `nag-blocker-extension` folder onto your computer. 2. Open Chrome and navigate to `chrome://extensions/`. 3. Enable **Developer mode** (toggle at the top right corner). 4. Click **Load unpacked** and choose the `nag-blocker-extension` folder containing `manifest.json`.
