Broken Link Checker scans all links on the current page and reports their HTTP status in one click. How to use: Click the extension icon → Click "Scan" → See results in seconds. Features: - One-click scan — no URL pasting, works on any page you're viewing - Detects 2xx OK, 3xx redirects, 4xx broken (404 etc), 5xx server errors, and timeouts - Scans up to 8 links concurrently with 6-second timeout per link - Broken links appear first in the results table for quick fixing - Live progress bar during scanning plus summary stats (total/OK/broken/errors) - Export results: Copy to clipboard (Ctrl+V into Excel) or download as CSV file Use cases: Website owners checking SEO health, content editors verifying external links, QA testers doing page sanity checks, developers debugging redirects. Privacy: All checking runs locally via Service Worker. No data collected, stored, or sent anywhere. No accounts, no tracking. Limitations: Cannot scan browser system pages (chrome://, edge://). Some servers may reject HEAD requests (reported as errors). Auth-walled pages may return 403 (expected behavior).
