About this extension

Read the publisher’s full description
BRI + BMI Calculator is the only Chrome extension that calculates Body Roundness Index (BRI) — the modern, science-backed metric that predicts visceral fat and cardiometabolic risk better than BMI alone. WHY BRI MATTERS ────────────── BMI only uses height and weight. BRI adds waist circumference, which means it captures fat distribution around your organs — the kind that drives heart disease, diabetes, and metabolic syndrome. BRI is the measurement doctors are increasingly paying attention to. WHAT YOU GET ──────────── ► Instant BRI + BMI calculation from the toolbar — no website visit needed ► Metric (cm / kg) and Imperial (in / lbs) support ► Color-coded 6-zone BRI gauge: Extremely Lean · Lean · Normal · Above Average · High · Very High ► Color-coded 4-zone BMI gauge: Underweight · Normal · Overweight · Obese ► "Understand your scores" link to the full BRI range guide ► How to measure your waist correctly — built right into the form HISTORY & PROGRESS TRACKING ──────────────────────────── ► Save measurements with one tap ► View your last 20 entries with color-coded BRI dots ► BRI trend chart — see if your score is improving ► Delete any entry instantly STATISTICS DASHBOARD ──────────────────── ► Average BRI over 7 days, 30 days, and all time ► BRI change over 30 days (green = improving, red = worsening) ► Dual BRI + BMI trend chart ► Your current BRI position on the full health gauge DESIGN ────── ► Modern, clean interface — no clutter ► Light and dark mode (persists across sessions) ► 380 px popup — compact but readable ► All data stored locally on your device — nothing sent to any server PRIVACY FIRST ───────────── ► Zero tracking, zero analytics, zero ads in the extension ► The only permission used is chrome.storage.local — to save your measurements on your device ► No account, no login, no email required BACKED BY SCIENCE ───────────────── BRI (Body Roundness Index) was developed by Dr. Diana Thomas and colleagues and published in peer-reviewed journals. It has been validated across multiple large cohort studies as a stronger predictor of visceral adiposity and metabolic risk than BMI.
