BreathingBrowser Standard Chrome extension security report

In a world full of digital distractions, have you ever lost your focus amidst countless open tabs? BreathingBrowser Standard is a tool designed to bring calm back to your browsing experience, utilizing the scientific principle of "Rhythmic Entrainment." Core Operating Principle: Simply activate the extension, and a gentle visual halo will appear at the edge of your browser window. Think of it as "Visual White Noise." You don't need to stare at it intentionally; just focus on your work or reading as usual. This rhythm operates in the background, passively and gently guiding your breath and focus. Key Benefits: ✨ Boost Focus: Gently pulls your attention back from digital distractions. 🧘 Reduce Mental Load: A steady rhythm helps alleviate the fatigue of information overload. 🌬️ Non-intrusive Background Guidance: Works passively in the background, requiring no extra effort from you. 🌿 Create a Focused Atmosphere: Adds an imperceptible yet effective element of calm to your digital workspace. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 👁️ Feature Breakdown & Permission Explanation: To achieve the effects described above, this extension includes the following specific features: 1. Visual Breathing Pacer: Feature Description: Overlays a transparent Canvas layer on top of the current webpage to display a rhythmic, glowing halo. How it Works: The halo "brightens" to prompt inhalation and "dims" to prompt exhalation. This feature is completely silent. Permission Usage: We require permission to access page content solely to draw this visual halo at the edge of the page. We never read or store any of your browsing content. 2. Dual Breathing Frequencies: Feature Description: Offers two scientifically verified breathing rhythms for users to switch between. Focus Mode: 5s Inhale / 5s Exhale (Balanced Frequency). Calm Mode: 4s Inhale / 8s Exhale (Relaxation Frequency). 3. Smart Background Detection: Feature Description: Built-in auto-adaptation ensures comfortable use on any website. How it Works: The system instantly identifies the brightness of the current webpage's background: When browsing Dark Mode pages, the halo automatically switches to White. When browsing Light Mode pages, the halo automatically switches to Black. Permission Explanation: To implement this automatic switching, the extension needs to read the webpage's background style. This process is performed entirely locally on your computer to ensure visual comfort while protecting your privacy. 4. Multilingual UI Support: Supports Traditional Chinese, English, Japanese, and Korean. The interface language switches automatically based on your browser settings. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 🔒 Privacy Policy Summary: BreathingBrowser Standard values your privacy. No Data Collection: We do not collect, store, or transmit any of your browsing history, personal information, or webpage content. Local Operation: All computations (halo rendering, color detection) are performed locally within your browser. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 💖 Experience BreathingBrowser Standard now, and reclaim your balance and peace in every moment.
