Backstage Sidekick: a Whatnot Mod Tool Chrome extension security report

Anyone who's modded a live show knows the loop: welcome people in, push the follow, hype the giveaway, ask the winner's size, thank the raid — the same twenty messages, typed over and over, all night. Backstage Sidekick puts that whole loop on one tap. It's a free helper for Whatnot mods, co-hosts, and sellers. It opens in a side panel right next to your Whatnot tab and rides along with your show. Tap a phrase, it lands in chat. That's it — no account, no sign-up, no charge. YOUR PHRASE DECK, YOUR WORDS Comes loaded with the lines real mods actually post — welcomes, follow + bookmark pushes, giveaway hype, GG congrats, prebid and Buy It Now callouts, sponsor thank-yous. Every phrase is editable, and you can add your own categories. Fill-in-the-blank phrases prompt you for the username or item, then post clean. Too many phrases to scroll? Fold a category down to a tidy header and open it only when you need it. Your deck, arranged the way your show runs. SIZES + EMOJI, ONE TAP A row of size chips posts "sz 8" style callouts — and the chips are editable, so a sneaker mod's row can read "M8 W10" while an apparel mod's reads XS–XL. Emoji walls (🔥🔥🔥, ❤️❤️❤️, 👏👏) land with a tap. Taps stack, so "Welcome in! 👋" + "💚" builds one message before you send. WHO TO THANK — nobody slips past The moments that deserve a shoutout scroll past fast. While your show is open, Sidekick keeps a running list of them — raids, tips, giveaway winners, Buy It Now buyers — in the order they arrived, with a clock so you can see who's been waiting. Thank each one by name with a tap and check them off. Just opened the panel mid-show? Hit "Catch up" and it scans the sales you already made so nobody gets missed. PREBID RADAR The listings getting bids before they even go live are your hottest sellers — and easy to forget to hype. Sidekick surfaces them on their own tab so a tap drops a "prebids are hot, get your bids in" line for the item that's already heating up. When the listing runs, it clears itself. NAME LIST — remember who's who Need to keep track of people — a giveaway entry list, everyone who said "DONE," the folks to follow back? Keep a running list right in the panel. Add names by hand, or set a watch word (like DONE) and Sidekick auto-collects anyone who types it in chat. Check people off as you go, then post the whole list back to chat in one shout. WORKS YOUR WAY Taps can post straight to chat, or just fill the box so you press send yourself. Prefer to keep chat somewhere else? Flip to Copy mode and every tap copies the phrase to your clipboard instead. Not on a show yet? Taps land on a scratch pad so you can build your lines before you go live. PRIVATE BY DESIGN No account required. Everything Sidekick tracks about a show stays in your browser — nothing is uploaded anywhere. You sign in to Whatnot directly with Whatnot in your own tab; Sidekick never sees your password, and it never touches any site but Whatnot. Made by Backstage, the crew behind the seller tools at backstagelive.app — built by watching real mods run real shows, and free because great mods make every show better. Backstage Sidekick is an independent tool and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Whatnot Inc.
