Autofill Forms

Autofill Forms using keyboard shortcut or toolbar button.

Autofill Forms is a simple extension that enables you to easily fill out online forms (web forms) via a toolbar button click. Before using the add-on please make sure to visit add-on option's page and add desired rules. All rules need to be in the format of CSS Selectors. If you are not familiar with CSS Selectors, please visit this link in w3schools website to get more info. How to work with Autofill Forms add-on: a. Open options page and press on the "Add a new rule" button or edit an exciting rule. b. Enter the page URL (tab URL) in which the form exists or * to match all URLs. c. Add a CSS Selector rule. d. Add a desired value for the specified rule. For example, if a rule finds the "name" filed in a web form, enter your name as the value. e. Open a web form in a new tab and click on the toolbar button (or Alt+Shift+F) to fill out the form. Note #1: default rules in the options page are for clarification purposes only and may not work on any web form. Please edit/remove them before using the add-on. Note #2: in order to report bugs, please fill the bug report form in the addon's homepage (https://mybrowseraddon.com/autofill-forms.html). Privacy Policy for Autofill Forms: 1. This extension only uses "storage" and "activeTab" for permissions. 2. This extension does NOT collect any non-personally identifiable information (such as IP-address, cookies, location, etc.) 3. This extension does NOT have any background activities. It only activates if you click on the toolbar button or use keyboard shortcuts. 4. This extension does NOT sync or send any information to any remote server. It only uses local-storage (chrome.storage.local or window.localStorage) to store autofill forms' data locally on your machine (web browser).
