# Function Save, organize, and restore browser windows, tabs, and tab groups. "Track" a window to get started, any changes in a tracked window is detected. When the window is closed, it can be restored at any time. Restoring a tracked window opens a new window with all its tabs and tab groups. Information such as: - tab position, tab url, tab pinned, tab mute - tab group position, tab group color, tab group name, tab group collapsed - last tab user was on before the tracked window was closed will all be restored. The "auto" aspects of the extension are that when: - a window is tracked, user doesnt need to manually click save before closing the window to save tabs and tab groups data. Its auto saved by the extension - a tracked window is restored, there is no need to manually click track window again as the extension knows it was tracked before. # Requirements The extension needs access to browsing history to be able to access tabs in a window so it can save tab information. Same with tab groups. Fear not, no data is sent to a remote server, everything runs locally on your device. You can confirm by checking the extension code. Go to "chrome://extensions/", find the extension, click "details", and under "Inspect views" there are "service worker" and "options.html" if the options page is open. Click on each and open "background.js" and "options.js" file respectively, which contains all the extension code # Why The reason I created this extension because I was unhappy with Chrome's bookmarking system. The "Bookmark all tabs" button not saving tab pinned, mute, last active tab, and any tab groups data, so when "Open all tabs in new window" was clicked, it would just open tabs with urls. Then I went to Chrome web store to find tab manager extensions that solved theses issues but they all had the same problems. Manually having to click the save button before closing a window, no tab groups data saved, and not remembering the last tab I was on before closing the window. # Other A review would be greatly appreciated, even if its a low star rating review as your information will allow me to improve the extension.
