API Sniffer monitors your browser traffic in the background and automatically identifies API calls based on URL patterns, response content types, and request headers — no configuration needed to get started. Every detected request is saved to a local library you can search, filter, and inspect at any time. Open the popup for a quick overview, or launch the full-screen view for a two-panel interface with a resizable list and a detailed inspector side by side. What gets captured Each entry includes the full URL, HTTP method, status code, request headers (with sensitive values redacted), response headers, matched detection reasons, and the source page that triggered the request. Cookies are detected and stored separately — values are hidden by default and revealed on demand with a single click. Inspect and export Click any request to open a detailed view with tabs for headers, cookies, and notes. Use the Response button to open a dedicated tab showing all captured metadata alongside a ready-to-use cURL command. Export your entire library as JSON or HAR for use in Postman, Insomnia, or any HTTP client. Customizable detection Add your own URL keywords, exclude domains or regex patterns, and adjust the storage limit from the settings page. Detection runs silently and can be paused at any time from the toolbar toggle. All data stays local — nothing is sent anywhere.
