AI ColorFix: Smart Contrast Corrector

AI ColorFix is a Chrome extension that helps make text easier to read on websites. When you click Scan Page, it checks the text on the page and looks for low colour contrast. If the text is hard to read, the extension adjusts the text colour so it meets WCAG accessibility contrast rules. It tries to keep the new colour as close as possible to the original, so the page still feels the same. The extension can also improve readability, not just colour: - Small text can be increased to a minimum readable size (usually 16px). - Tight line spacing can be relaxed to make paragraphs easier to read. - Dense text may get a little extra letter spacing. - Links that rely only on colour get an underline, so they are easier to recognise. There is an optional Smart Mode. When it is on, an on-device AI model gives a simple “comfort” score for colour pairs. This score helps decide whether a small colour change is worth applying or should be skipped. The AI does not pick colours; it only scores how readable the result feels. Everything runs locally in your browser. No page content or colours are sent anywhere. If the AI model cannot load, the extension still works using standard WCAG contrast rules. The tool focuses only on contrast and basic typography. It does not change layouts, images, videos, or fix other accessibility issues like alt text or keyboard navigation.
