This free extension is based on the award winning uBlock Origin project with added functionality including Link Intelligence and more complete audio ad blocking. It is free, open source and completely serverless. Blocks All Types of Ads ✓ Blocks YouTube ads, including pre-roll and mid-roll video ads. ✓ Blocks audio ads, including auto playing audio ads. ✓ Blocks pop-up, banner, image, and gif ads. Link Intelligence ✓ Puts a red underline on links that contain paywalls, clickbait, or other malicious patterns. ✓ Hover over red underlined links for a tooltip to learn more (e.g. aggressive paywall, metered paywall, clickbait, etc.) Protect Your Privacy ✓ Stops trackers ✓ Protects you from spyware, malware, and cryptocurrency miners. ✓ Improves page load times so that you get a faster browsing experience Completely Free And Open Source ✓ Builds on top of the open source uBlock Origin content blocking engine and adds several new pieces of functionality, including Link Intelligence and better protection against audio ads. ✓ Does not use any servers. How To Use It 1. Install the chrome extension by clicking the “Add to Chrome” button at the top right of this page. 2. Browse as you normally would. You should see almost no ads, including video ads. 3. You’ll see some links that are underlined in red if they contain paywalls, clickbait, or other dark patterns.
